About Me

Edward David is a director of photography who works in commercial, narrative, and documentary worlds.  His unique energy and passion and humanist love translates into his imagery for every project he works on.  He also is a steadicam operator, which translates into beautiful and smooth camera movement.

He has collaborated with a roster of incredible and visionary directors including: Spike Jonze, Ross Kauffman, Gillian Robespierre, Ross Kaufman, John X. Carey, Henry Joost, Ariel Schulman, Michelle Handelman, Eliot Rausch, Anthony Giacchino, Jeffrey Karoff, Cynthia Wade, Tracy Tragos, Kief Davidson, Tyler Manson, Lily Frances Henderson, and Jeremiah Zagar. 

His production company, Kitty Guerrilla Films won the 2015 Primetime Emmy for "Remembering 9/11" directed by Sean Kennedy.  His commercial work for John X. Carey has won the Palme D'Or at Cannes.  Films he has shot has screened at Sundance, among many other international film festivals. He has shot spots for Amex, Nike, Dove, Levi’s, Coach, GMC, Ford, BMW, Samsung, Verizon, Uber, Bank of America, Uniqlo, Citibank, and Planned Parenthood.

Social justice is a passion of his. He loves working on projects that give a voice to the voiceless.
