Ed is a director of photography. He shoots documentaries commercials, narratives and experimental films. He bring a lyricism and humanistic experience to tell the story. He likens camera movement and lighting and lens choices to a musical instrument that expressed three-dimensionality to a visual story.

He has collaborated with an amazing list of directors including Spike Jonze, John X. Carey, Ross Kauffman, Gillian Robespierre, Randy Krallman, Tyler Manson, Eliot Rausch, Tracey Lagos, Lily Frances Henderson, Kief Davidson, Zachary Heinzerling,  and Jeremiah Zagar.

He loves the passion directors bring to his projects - how they make his work better, and the incredibly beautiful collaboration of art in filmmaking that is unlike any other art form.

His work has screened at festivals all over the world, won a Primetime Emmy, and his commercial work have won at Cannes, including the Palme d'Prix and Palme d'Or.

He loves small and big projects, working with crews of all types around the world.
