Ed is a DOP of documentaries, commercials, narratives and music videos.

He brings a lyricism and humanistic experience to what he lenses. He likens the camera to a musical instrument, with an eye on lighting and lens focal choices to convey deep emotion.  He likes to build a relationship with the people he films to get unguarded moments and always rolls on the in between moments.

He lifts his directors up, both figuratively and literally, with his extremely long arms. He is their loyal warrior, always advocating for them to get more time to get the performance they need. He sees the big picture.

He has collaborated with an amazing list of directors including Spike Jonze, John X. Carey, Ross Kauffman, Gillian Robespierre, Randy Krallman, Tyler Manson, Eliot Rausch, Tracey Lagos, Lily Frances Henderson, Kief Davidson, Zachary Heinzerling,  and Jeremiah Zagar.

He loves the passion directors bring to his projects - how they make his work better, and the incredibly beautiful collaboration of art in filmmaking that is unlike any other art form.

His work has screened at festivals all over the world. His production company won a Primetime Emmy.  Stuff he has lenses for commercials have won at Cannes, including the Palme d'Prix and Palme d'Or.

He loves small and big projects, working with crews of all types around the world. He has a drone FAA part 107 drone license too because he loves to play with very expensive and slightly dangerous things.
